Pro cooking tips are important when you're trying to up your cooking game, and it's important that you only take cooking advice from people who actually know what they're talking about. Who does this include?
The following people are worth listening to when it comes to cooking advice:
- Professional chefs
- Pro bakers
- Cooking teachers
- Anyone who has been cooking steadily for 10+ years
- Cookbook authors (assuming their recipes actually work)
- Professional recipe developers who write for major publications (because a lot of the developers who write for small publications are only hobbyists with no training)
Why do you need to be discerning about who you listen to for cooking advice? Because 75% of the people out there love to spout of advice when they have no idea what they're talking about. (And you know, this isn't only for cooking... LOL)
Only take cooking advice from people who have proven time and time again they have both the experience and the troubleshooting skills to solve almost any culinary problem before you take their advice.
